"I've got to run out an buy MacOS 8" I already have! I was inspired by a posting on Macintouch the other day when someone noted that pirated copies of OS 8 Golden Master had mysteriously disappeared from known hacker hangouts. Where once there was a pirated copy of the OS, there were now messages from various members of the hacking community asking that people rally 'round in support of Apple and buy OS 8 rather than pirate it. This was no joke! I've never seen hackers organise this well, or at all in support of a computer company. I felt that I should join the ferver! Hey! The Mac and Apple have given me opportunities for lots of money in the past either working with it, or supporting it. Surely, I can shell out a hundred bucks and BUY an OS at least once in my life! (Note: Every other OS I have had came with the machine!) I've been using beta 6 of OS 8 and find it very stable, with a few new tricks to boot! How 'bout it folks? $100 isn't that much for system software! -Bill HooFatt
