KB, that was sloppy wording on my part.

What I see in the $NYA chart is that +DI bottomed below 10 during the Sept/Oct selloff and the ADX line acted as a lagging indicator in this case.

If the pattern repeats itself, we should see the +DI turning round about now and the ADX trend would top out later.
