MeDroogies, Nice quick .35 profit. Unless you are very confident that orcl will trade much higher than 10 in the short term ( I think not), you should probably let new contracts ride a bit longer. Watch how quickly the aug 10's lose their time value with ORCL at these levels. I'm taking no action on my July 10's; don't care if I'm assigned....I can almost bet I'll be able to repurchase at a lower break even next week and repeat the cycle, or just sell orcl puts for next month. Also while .75 in the money will guarantee an assigmenet, I've been assigned with contracts only 5 cents in the money, and have not been assigned with other contracts .60 in the money. The grey area is just that. Cheers, kaka
