In a very rough market, a rougher day for LNT. I added a bit to my position. finance.yahoo.com They are now saying, "Alliant Energy affirmed its commitment to the current $2.00 per share annual dividend. The company has paid a dividend for 226 consecutive quarters. "We remain committed to the dividend policy we have set in place and have no current plans to change that policy," stated Davis. "We continue to generate strong cash flows that will provide the financial flexibility to pay our current dividend in spite of the 2002 earnings challenges." We'll see.
