I sent the last Dell system I bought for my wife back after repeated blue screens, and purchased an IBM desktop machine. I'm no longer a buyer of Dell equipment. However, your point about HP is interesting. I prefer IBM for laptops, and own several Thinkpads, one of which had a problem with a key on the keyboard some years back and I had to have the keyboard replaced. However, of all the machines I have owned, there have been three I have never had a problem with. One IBM desktop, one IBM Thinkpad, and one COMPAQ desktop.

Regards,
John
