Historically, investors have profited from rampant speculation only to lose it all in the great correction. Money isn't the motivation that leads men to take large risks, make large gains, only to lose it all. It's the ego that gets in the way. It's the thrill of the hunt and not the killing or hunger that drives men. Knowing the difference between the two is key to keeping your head and your profits.

Someone once described AMZN as "bullet proof." As we've all seen NOTHING is bullet proof.

There are thousands of stories about greedy executives and investors who didn't cash out when their options or stocks were worth millions. The wise ones took the money and ran.

Taking risks when testosterone levels are high is a receipt for loss carry forwards.
