actually that sounds about right to me. The only thing is the secular bear seems to be a bit of a circular bear as far as these different sectors are concerned. Software and comm infrastructure which were the dogs are about played out on the short side from what I can see... at least my sw and comm portfolios are up about 20% since the lows around late may. I missed shorting the homebuilders. I'm afraid to do it because I don't have a sense of the national housing mkt being in the craziest of all housing mkts out here in SV. But real estate here is going down no doubt about it. BTW today I looked at news on wcome and forbes had an article "wcome declares bankruptcy" - I clicked on it and it was gone, it was the prepared PR. Maybe wcome will go BK this weekend and that would cause a mini-capitulation on monday. L
