Karen, what you don't understand is that if this type of accelerating market meltdown were occurring with Democrats controlling the White House and the House of Representatives, the GOP would not blame the Democrats or even entertain the thought of referring to the problem during the campaign. Rather, they would dispassionately explain to the American people that the market downturn it is just a cyclical phenomenon that politicians have, at most, a marginal impact on. Right guys?
