fed will issue a special greenspan put on that debt, can't imagine it will be bullish for the $, and since the $ is the world's reserve currency can't imagine it will be bullish for fiat in general. also have the problem of every peripheral economy trying to devalue so they can sell shit to us, that can't be bullish for fiat currencies. almost inconceivable to think that gold would benefit, I mean, hardly anyone even has much more than a few rings or necklaces, it's just too scarce in relation to all that real money floating out there -g-
