Problem is he(& I guess you) are looking at only the bad the evil the vile, of which we can find a plenty. I look at the wonderful efforts & sacrifice of our service men & women who are fighting & dying for our freedoms of speech & to practice religion - in our own way & of the press & to own & bear arms & those many others.

See the heros's of 9-11 be they the fiermen & cops, those that wouldn't allow the 4th plane to crash inot other innocents or the civilian Dr.s nurses (some on vacation)that rushed to the Pentagon to render aid while the building burned & fell around them! Look at the bulk of those risking life & limb(and yes damn-it giveing their lives so we might live) in this terrible fire season here in the west! What was it He said about giving up one's life for another?

Then look at some the smaller efforts & gifts given our greater society because its the correct way to live! Many of our local Rockies baseball "stars"(stars because the way the act not because the way they play) hold batting pitching & catching little league coaching jobs in the off season. Look to the individual farmers & ranchers of TX who donated Thousands of TONS of hay & feed for (mostly hobby) horses & llamas in the worst hit fire areas of the western states.

Look around, or better yet, give a little yourself, just do something small for another human in need. The world isn't saved through threats of damnation, ir is saved by one kind act toward another & allowing this good will to breed. My "gift" is planting on burned out areas & helping anyone with car problems when I see them broken by the side of the road.
