Hi Yeadon: I agree with your projection but I am looking for two other important items. CLIX should contribute at most $20 Million per quarter. The first item I am looking for is if the industry growth is 20% or higher. According to the recently released PCTL earnings, it was not. I still think that the new VTEL can grow at an annual rate of 20% or higher. I also think they will take market share from PCTL but not significantly until the 4th Quarter.

The second item I am anxious to see are the new VTEL products as a result of the acquired CLIX technology. These new products are to be introduced into the channel 4th Quarter. If they are what I was led to believe, we should again dominate the 'high end' teleconferencing market. We have already seen the contribution to sales from CLIX regarding their China accounts.

Now management must consolidate the business and work on reducing the operating expenses. Our new CEO needs to focus on installing the best management team available (they recently hired many new marketing people) and work on delivering profitable results to the shareholders. If these new products can be delivered as promised, VTEL is positined to have a very good 1998.

I will be buying more VTEL after Q3 and adding to my position once the new products are announced.
