I have held Bill Moyers in tremendous regard for a long time, but his PBS show "Now" continues to exceed even my highest expectations. He isn't afraid to call bullshit on corporate and government excesses, and he carefully researches his topics so that he can name the names and quote the specifics with impunity. What sets him even further apart from the pack in these efforts is that he is able to find people who can make credible suggestions to remedy the problems at hand. I did not see this program but I certainly try to catch the first rerun available. Half jokingly, I've been saying for a while now that he and Oprah should job share the next presidency. As the political climate continues to darken, it occurs to me that he's the half that wouldn't be such a joke.
