I perceive there has been some self-praise on the part of some Americans in the USA. However, these folks will do well to know that self-praise is no praise.
I noticed an appalling lack of moral outrage on the part of Americans with regard to the manipulations and corruptions that have, of late, become so evident in corporate America, and also lack of moral outrage against the pedophilic priests of America.
To me, Falwell-bashing is symptomatic of those who feel an inner guilt but whose pride and defence mechanism would not let them to be honest enough to come face to face the truth that for the time being, at least, the USA is in moral decline.
Don't be concerned about being called to the carpet. If you are, then you are tacitly accepting that others are "boss" over you and, for sure, they will want to ride roughshod over you.
What you have been saying may seem irrelevant to the gold discussion. But, on closer examination, it is RELEVANT. You see, because of the moral laxity extant, corruption and manipulations of sorts have brought about the seemingly unpredictable gyrations in the PoG and horrendous declines in the stock markets. For every effect there is a cause. And ruminations on possible causes is always germane to the discussion!!! You should not lose sight of that, muy estimado Señor Santiago!!! |
