OK I have a problem. My telephone outlet is at the opposite end of the room from where my computer desk. This is an apartment, so I cannot pull up carpeting to run the telephone cable under the carpeting. What are my options? The only one I can think of is to minimize the exposure of the wire and then the part that is exposed over a walkway I can put down a throw rug. Too bad I cannot convert some sort of wireless telephone for my use.
