Hi chris,

I started down the dividend path about a year ago. (I'm not a great trader so I like the security). I'll worry about changing strategies when I see the threat of much higher interest rates.

I own AVN.UN, COS.UN, GRO.UN, HAL.UN FAP, NAT and PWI.UN. and am looking @ some other ideas but not REITS. Basically businesses that are sound and make money through most economic times and have gone trust are on the agenda or preferred / common shares etc with decent dividend yields. Whether we get the BIG capitulate OR we get the death by a thousand cuts, making money by share appreciation is gonna be tough for a while. I don't have the skill to play that game only, at least not in these times. Of course I still trade cause it's just too much fun :o)

regards
Kastel
