But Emile, you have not addressed a fundamental issue I raised and that is stated in light of your post: Seeing that the African Americans like the Palestenians have no army, seeing that the Indians like the Palestenians also had or armies. Seeing, like the Palestenians, the Indians had their land occupied and worse still colonialized by the British. Seeing, that the African Americans were enslaved by the Americans.

We still did not have Martin Luther King and Gandhi call their occupiers what Palestenians are calling Israelis. They had no hatred for either the British colonialist or the American masters of slaves. They did not consider martyrdom as strapping bombs and killing innocents. And they were finally rewarded by the world community. They finally succeeded in achieving their goal through the efforts of the world community.

How can you expect the Palestenians to get world sympathy when all their leaders have said anything but violence? If the Palestians want peace, then they can provide the lead by themselves being a model of peace. Talking ill about the enemy does not win peace especially in these days when battles are not won by vanquishing the enemy but winning over the world community to your side.
