Hi DAK, <<Jack getting his faster than I would have thought>>
In my lucky and fortunate estimation, 18-24 months from February 27th, 2001 is about right, give an Enron or take a Worldcom;0)

"February 27th, 2001 Do not know about economics, but here are some upcoming news headlines. The order and specific company names are not important. Say 18-24 months. If we do not believe that at least 25% of the headlines will come to pass within the next 18-24 months (time determined by recklessness of Maestro), we should start to accumulate stocks now, looking pass the valley of gloom.
The sooner we see some of these headlines, the sooner we can get back to buying "for the long term". ... “GE Lays Off Another 5%” “Major Fraud Discovered at …..” “Productivity Index Misled for The Past 10 Years” “GE Capital Owes Up On Hidden Losses” “The House That Jack Left”"

"March 30th, 2001 GE is expensive, relative to all traditional measures of value, and to its peers. GE does have peers. Less the faith placed in Jack, GE is but a large conglomerate, marking time with global economic growth." Chugs, Jay |
