Investors were told over and over again that six months after the Federal Reserve began cutting rates, stock prices were always higher.

These were the same moron investors who kept buying stocks even as the Fed was raising rates ... right ? CNBC repeated that "fac"t so many times in January 2001, I couldn't believe it. And they never mentioned the most important fact - that historically the typical PE of the S&P 500 is around 15 - 17.

The press is now printing almost totally negative opinions on the market. The powers in control probably want to flush out the little guy once and for all so they can pick up the bargains they leave behind.
