Do you remember where wheat was in the 1980/82 period? I used to market an instrument to grain elevators to determine rapidly protein content in wheat so farmer with higher protein wheat can get a premium, guess what, we were always praying that wheat stays above $3/bushel, since that is where such a premium started to make sense (and thus our marketing efforts not wasted). After $20 years you show me exactly the same prices and yell "Inflation"? Give me a break. You may want to pull out a 30 years chart on wheat and wonder how the farmers are still making money...
