Brian, after reading your post, i thought of Mel Gibson in Braveheart. its the scene when he and his rag tag team of farmers and herdsmen are facing the well trained and armed soldiers of England. i do agree the best time to buy is at capitulation. but what to buy and how long will it take before the next bubble allow these brave buyers to sell out at 1000%+ gains??? i often wonder who was lucky enough to buy COHU or AMAT in the late 70's or early 80's and selling it in 1999 or 2000 as a multi-millionaire. i have no doubt the future has chips and semi equip but will the growth still be great or will the semi industry become "mature", limiting those big gains we got used to in the 1990's. that's why i am looking at other industries like Bob's KVHI. tomorrow's gorilla stocks and industries might be graying apes. gotta find those young ones that are gonna be future MSFT, INTC, AMAT, etc. good luck Henry
