Chapter 11. Does anyone know of a website that explains the different chapters of bankruptcy ? If WCOM is still around and doing business after this, and I haven't dumped my shares, are my shares still worth anything? for example (1) Kmart filed for bankruptcy, and their shares are still trading. (2) I've owned another company that filed for Bankruptcy, but their debts were much higher than assets. I dumped those shares for almost nothing.
