Hi DAK, <<buying more Canadian land and $CD's>> I have also started buying Canadian $ with US$, and intending to buy more with AUD$ (I think their agricultural problems and resultant govt subsidies will impact the currency which has had a good run against the US$. Very odd feeling for me to be floating from one currency to the next, until (hopefully not) I step on a land mine;0( I will also be buying more paper gold, and start on Freeport Mc Copper/Gold. I have enough of all other flavours of gold (physical) and gold shares (SAfrican, Australian, American). I am struggling with a decision on whether to buy one plot of land out of the Thailand partnership for a family compound hideaway. No answer yet. Feeling like a financial refugee. Chugs, Jay
