On the other hand, the campaign to demonize Clinton has been way out of proportion to reality. He fucked up his share of things, as did most of his predecessors, but the idea that his administration was some sort of national tragedy is not, IMO, founded in reality.

I can't say I liked him much, but I'd be more inclined to place him in the just-another-politician class than the curse-of-the-republic class.
