Zardoz, www.symantec.com pings at 62ms average now. My problem is intermittent slowdown of connection. Sometimes it becomes unusable. Since yesterday morning it has been acceptable. AT&T states on their web site that target download rate is 1.5mb/s. Different speed measurement web sites can give widely differing speeds. I understand that can be due to congestion. Pcpitstop used to measure 1.5 to 2.5 mb/s when downloading a 500kB file. Now it's more like 200mb/s.
