RE:Walter KIM's NYT article:Stockman Scott:I thought it was "yuppie gallows humor"-an entire generation was led down the prim rose path by the word DIVERSIFICATION-$$$$$ spent on mutual fund ads-all BS-(the mutual fund industry IS the culprit-swept it all into one corner and then s----- it up after draining the yuppie deposits with evergreen fees and commissions-the churn and burn of all history!!!It takes years/ of humbeling devastation to be a good stock picker/money manager -to be able to see a Bernie Ebbers for what he was (I was out at 68 with my sister's one position-not bot on my advice-)to see CPQ was a farce at 65 to see DELL in 1996 to see AOL was run by crooks etc -that SUNW was a joke-"all documented on this thread"---THAT- vision came with hard work over decades-not by going to ""day trade school run by a bunch of childish bearded farces".
