Don't think you are being fair there. When repugs basicaly call people fools for investing in markets after they campaigned to invest SS funds in it, when the corps that people trusted prove they didn't warrant it its not demolibs as you call them causing it is the pillars of republican economics that seem to be cracking with no effective leadership trying to shore things up. O'neal being off to asia during the most serious domestic crises in finance in decades leaves people with the feeling that the gov't doesn't care that the population has lost over 7 trillion and counting. The ripples are emanating from the white house.
