Jeff: Without 911 accusations, most people

wouldn't have even heard of Tony. The media ran with the prosecutions accusations of 911 involvement. I'm sure the media wouldn't have done all the TV coverage of him without the 911 charge. It would have been boring news. Imagine how his wife feels now that their entire community heard that 911 bit. I'm sure the kids weren't able to finish school and facing the neighbors must be impossible. Maybe the prosecution was hoping that a nutzo would go and harass the family because of the 911 bit. I also think the prosecution used the 911 charge to make sure that no one helps him legally or financially. Who would want to be associated with anyone associated with 911. It's the worst form of koodies on the planet. They also wanted to frighten all the club members and ones arrested so they would rat on tony instead of defending him. The 911 charges also make his stay in jail a lot less pleasant besides the fact that no matter what the judge says, I'm sure it's one of the factors keeping him in jail without bail and perhaps even added to the RICO charges and forfeitures. I think that the President has given the FBI more lenient rules for dealing with 911 associates. I think the FBI wanted to be able to use these more lenient rules with tony. Maybe that's why the FBI was recording his conversations with his attorney. That's definitely not allowed normally as per attorney/client privilege.

In the end it may help Tony's case as it makes the prosecution look down and dirty. It also makes them out to be liars. The government KNEW back in October that no one shorted 911.

Again, I'm not saying tony is innocent. I don't believe him to be a saint. I just think the 911 charge is totally bogus and I don't think he's getting fair treatment.
