Holy crap- the evening news is NOTHING but stories of desperate people telling their brokers to sell everything. According to CBS and NBC, everyone is throwing in the towel. I don't think I've ever seen the media this bearish. Um, no. When everyone really gives up, the dow will be at 1500 and the naz will disappear as an index. If the PPT doesnt step in tomorrow, IN SIZE, this market is toast. It'll be another generation before anyone is young enough to forget the frauds of this era and put a DIME into the stock market. Good riddance. The only thing left is to start confiscating the ill-gotten gains from all the criminals who ran the casino and the fradulent corporations that populated it. We take away the homes and cars and bank accounts of people caught selling drugs, with the assumption that the source of all that wealth was an illegal act- drug sales. (even if it cant be proved) But we've got the freaking SEC insider sales statements for all these corporate crooks! WE KNOW EXACTLY WHERE THEIR MONEY CAME FROM. I dont think Ken Lay can claim the 140 million sitting in his swiss account came from his side job running a lemonade stand. TAKE THE MONEY BACK!! WHY DONT WE DO THIS WITH ALL THE GOD-DAMNED CRIMINALS THAT FILL THE HALLS OF WALL STREET AND SILICON VALLEY? P.S. I expect to see stories of gun-weilding ex-investors deciding to take matters into their own hands very soon. Remember that guy that shot up his former daytrading brokerage? Or maybe those 20 million dollar mansions of these clowns will start "mysteriously" burning down.. The concept of a mob with torches isn't limited to frankenstein movies. If you screw enough people, you have to live with the consequences..
