When it comes to events like the Charge, EVERYBODY is relying on what others say, because none of us has first hand knowledge.

In fact, it's amazing when you think about it how much we take other peoples' words for things. Even simple things, like that in English the yellow thing that comes up in the morning is called the sun. You only believe that because somebody told you. Well, more than one somebody in that case, but still, just a bunch of somebodies. You only know the color it is is called yellow because people told you so.

Some people (hi, X!), think they can question everything, but it's a delusion. We are really totally interdependent for virtually everything we know, or think we know. Frankly, Descartes was plain wrong.
