I was out picking juicy, plump, and very ripe blueberries. Did you know that we grow the best berries in the world right here in the Pacific Northwest? Well, we do. Next I went into the vegetable garden and harvested my first crop of vine peas. They were just ready if you know what I mean? Dark, firm, green peas surrounded by a tough yet giving outer shell. They are really delicious steamed over boiling water for 8-10 minutes then drained and tossed with a dab of real butter and a sprinkle of salt. Reminds you of summer at home doesn't it? It sure does me!
I'm saving them for tomorrow night. I'll be a thousand miles away from here, and when I sit down to those steamed, buttered and salted peas and some grilled Copper River Salmon, I will be the happiest camper on earth.
Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah......right, that's it.
Screech, guys like you are a dime a dozen. You come and go. Everyone starts putting you on ignore, and you end up talking to yourself on line.
