Stoctrash, RE: "1-3X sales is usually a decent low in Tech-land. "
Give me a break. 1X is what dry cleaners make.
The latest deal this year, was a restaurant that was bought at 3X's sales. You do know how low the margins are in the restaurant business, right? And how does the food industry cut costs in an already low-margin business with no room to cut? It's not like they can come out with new processes like the semiconductor business does that significantly reduces costs, and thus increases valuation. When the food industry cuts costs, you can taste it.
On another note, when you make a point, you may want to convey the facts in a constructive manner (like you did in this second post), rather than personally attacking a poster (like you did in your earlier post). It's annoying to see you personally attack a poster that's an Intel employee, particularly during these times. Ten provides value to INTC, you don't.
Please learn to create value by being constructive. Counter-points are welcome, but rudeness isn't.
