GZ, If you don't already do these steps... Ya also got'ta close open programs before Scan Disk and Defrag.... #1... use Alt - Ctrl - Delete #2... "Close Program Box" appears... highlite and close all programs except Explorer and Systry [everything will return after rebooting] #3... close down screen saver... start - settings - control panel - display - screen saver change to none... [this you have to restart after Defrag] #4.... run Scan Disk - standard #5... Run Disk Clean up #6... Run Defrag #7... Re start computer
