...plus the AR(1) model on the deviation smacks VERY much of Sholes, Black & whatever the 3rd bloke's name was. Option traders in Frankfurt, Chicago end everywhere else can be THAT wrong. I would assume (assume!) that there was reality first, and then came the formulae. Matching the reality pretty well - my experience; -.
