With the integrated video performance of the 845G so weak and several compatibility problems I don't expect it to eat more market share than previous integrated chipsets from Intel did. As long as there is demand for more powerful graphics solutions NVDA (and maybe ATYT) will do fine. I'd only be worried if Intel's 845G had nForce 2 level graphics performance.

there's speculation on Accounting irregularities which I don't believe

NVDA has already addressed and internally resolved these problems. The funny thing is that after finishing internal investigation they had to restate some quarters but actually ended up with more earnings in total. Unless the SEC finds more irregularities (which I doubt) they'll probably soon dismiss their inquiry. But I haven't heard an official word from NVDA on the current status for some time...
