I know you didn't say billions per year. My point is that it is now billions a year, but in 1949 it was a lot less. The reason for this point was the fact that you jumped on my original statement that "Israel had the most successful diversified economy in the region even before the US became a major donor". Your link helps make my case the vast majority of the aid was in 1974 or later. In 1949 the only aid was a $100mil loan from the export-import bank, which is arguably not aid. In 1950 aid was about $0. Your link also supports my claim that the majority of the aid was military, and it a lower total amount of aid then the $100bil that you posted.
