Yep, Mr. Hueb and I have talked about that fish as he lives near the pond. Those Northern Snakeheads are so aggressive at feeding they even jump to try to catch birds. Hmmm, good eating, aggressive feeders and successful reproducers. Almost sounds like a fisherman's dream. BTW, they only breed with Snakeheads their own size because the bigger one would eat the smaller one.

The Bighead Carp has gotten into the Illinois River. They are filter feeders that eat all the plankton young fish of other species need to live and grow up. They also get to 100 pounds and tend to jump, and they can jump 5' into the air, when they hear a motor. Imagine running 50 mph in a boat and smacking your face into a 100 pound fish.
