Don't remember saying that, but they did come very close, negating investment losses, which in this market are certainly understandable.

Sure, but the bonds don't have the upside that MSFT has; in EPS growth. They don't have the capital downside that MSFT has at this time. But then again, investing has risk, and most of us know that.
