Hi, jpmac!! Welcome to the current incarnation of the Feelings thread, where a lot of feelings have been hurt recently and we are just trying to regain some sense of what passes for normal, compassionate cordiality around here. No, you didn't come at a bad time!!! Since this IS the Feelings thread, we just let it all hang out here . . .
There is a lot of cat hair flying around, but some of us have been declawed and the others are in separate corners licking their wounds sullenly, with one eye on the rest of the feline population, unsure when a juicy bird will fly by or mating season will start up and the meowing and scratching will begin again. These cats are sleek and clever, and you will notice that some of them wear eucalyptus and leather collars from the health food store, and some have those Hartz toxic woven cloth ones, with pesticides that have been shown to increase the feline cancer rate . . . oh, sorry, there I go again!!!
I'm not sure if you are into slave auctions or not!!! I understand that some people have been complaining that there was no notice of the last love slave auction, and missed it. If you are into cyber fantasy relationships, bring your electronic sweetie, or bid on a new one. This auction is full tilt, as racy as it gets around here when some of us are not discussing vegetable gardens or kitchen appliances, and features a variety of skimpy outfits including designer thongs from the exotic Far East. There is a little light S&M going on, or so I've heard.
I believe we are starting some new categories of auctions as well. I have just heard rumors, but there was some mention of women selling themselves because of economic disadvantage, and perhaps parents selling their children as well. (Of course, not any of our elite, college-educated soccer moms, or that liberal rabble rouser thread creator/destroyer who just doesn't know when to shut up, need to sell ourselves or our family members, since we are wealthy enough to amuse ourselves buying and selling stocks.) While we may disagree vehemently, I think all of the moms on this thread agree that we are all wonderful parents. However, some of us think slavery is NOT the worst thing that could happen, and some of us disagree, but very quietly so as not to open some very fresh wounds about what is, or is not, politically correct. Then I see in the vast, dim, historical past some fine southern gentlemen drinking mint juleps and talking of their fine culture and the agrarian basis for VERY cheap farm labor, and I believe there was some auction activity there as well. None of them have any clothes on, but they are not aware of that, and so we will just visualize little Confederate fig leaves. Well, maybe not, this is a clothing optional thread, anyway, unlike XXXXX, which has strict standards of decorum. We are all, I think it is safe to say, being exceedingly polite now, so all topics are open for discussion. Jump right in!!
No wonder Penni missed the love slave auction!! Things are a little confusing around here. Anyway, welcome!! You seem very gentle and sensitive, and I am sure will be an asset. You can now proudly refer to yourself as a Feelie . . . |
