If Q2 shipments were 93 million then Samsung shipped 10.2%

Following per Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.:

>> Samsung Reported Q2. Samsung shipped 9.5 million handsets in Q2 (CDMA 36%, GSM 59%, TDMA 5%). The company increased its shipment target for 2002 to 41 million up from 37 and reiterated its 415 million handset global forecast. Furthermore, Samsung increased its capex plans to expand handset capacity from 41 million units to 55 million units. The company said that its mobile network division did not fare too well due to the overall market conditions. CDMA handset pricing aided by mobile networks brought down the mobile division’s operating margins to low 20’s. <<
