DELL got a big after hours run, exceeding the day's losses, announcing its getting into the printer business. HP dropped their agreement supplying DELL with printers saying they won't do business with a direct competitor. Analysts are mixed on DELL's opportunity saying printers aren't the same as computers.. then again one can be certain DELL has looked carefully at this profitable sector and they have a ready audience and great virtual store traffic.
