McAfee.com and MSN Renew, Expand Relationship
SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
McAfee.com (Nasdaq: MCAF), a leading provider of Web security services,
today announced that it has formally expanded its agreement with
Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) by extending their relationship for an additional two
years. Under the terms of the agreement, McAfee.com's anti-virus engine will
scan Web-based mail coming through certain MSN properties such as Hotmail,
software for McAfee.com's Virus Scan Online subscription service is planned
to be distributed on certain US versions of the MSN8 CD, and McAfee.com's
anti-virus related content will be made available on the US version of the
MSN "Tech and Gadgets" channel.
