Coulter said that the NY Times didn't put Earnhardt on the front page until 2 days later. In fact, they reported it on the front page on the first day. That is remarkable contempt for one's audience, though perhaps it is deserved. Your response to this dishonesty? While she is guilty of being brutally honest ... LOL! ... her book is remarkably well-researched. The impression I got was that she hoped her readers would be poorly educated. She made a big pretense of documentation, but she made little effort to adhere to reality. Basic stuff jumped out at me, and I only skimmed the book. For example, she ridiculed someone for saying that Cuba has a good health care system. She seems to hope her readers don't know that Cuba does indeed have a good health care system. She ridiculed someone for suggesting Reagan shouldn't run for a second term because of the risk of senility. She seems to be hope that her readers don't know that Reagan most likely was senile during his second term. Tom
