Joe, Re: It could be a limited "pilot" release, which I speculated in the past would be a great idea. Wouldn't a pilot launch take the steam out of Hammer's launch? I guess the public (and review sites) would be somewhat underwhelmed if the first iteration of Hammer would be only marginally faster than a Thoroughbred and got beaten by a Pentium 4 (as suggested by the 2400+ rating). So the first impression for Hammer would be negative and that could bode badly for the "real" launch. I think it will be better if AMD will launch Hammer with a "bang". Andreas
