At the beginning of 2001, when I made my price ranges for the 7 I decided to buy, I used book value as the primary measure for semi-equips. I used sales and earnings levels for the semis.

I believe that the leading semi-equips are improving their performance relative to the industry and I adjusted my range up for that. Yesterday, an analyst called a bottom on NVLS because it was selling @ 2.3 book compared to the bottom in '98 ('96?) of 1.9. The bottom of my range is $25, 2 x book adjusted up.
