Don't believe everything you hear on the rumor mill <grin> For starters, Andy Grove does not have to certify the financial statement. The CEO, Craig Barrett, and the CFO, Andy Bryant, are the ones that have to sign a statement certifying that the numbers are correct.

McNealy will have to sign as CEO of Sun. But if the report is so far off on Grove they lose all their credibility.

On the AMD side, Jerry Sanders does not have to certify either. Just Hector Ruiz and the CFO, Robert Rivet.
