No its a pretty good example. Sure it was a British court ruling but it was a British Court extending the agreements with the rest of Europe to decide a case based neither on a law passed by parliament or on anything that Britain explicitly agreed to. Also it is a purely domestic situation settled on the grounds of interpretations of EU law. Sounds like (a partial) loss of sovereignty to me.
