We're betting our server on Opteron but not immediately on 64-bit. We think Opteron is well-poised for enterprises that want two, four, or eight processor systems.

I think that this point is important. Everyone is busy arguing about 64 bits and ignoring the hypertransport aspect. Opteron doesn't need to run 64 bit software, if it is substantially faster, cheaper more scalable than Xeons.
