Hi Joan, yeh, I have a hard time seeing how this isn't over - for a generation. Ridiculuous mortgages on McMansions (wonder if the stock market's taught them enough about "cycles" yet?), J6P starting to stop automatic contributions upon learning of accounting fraud (now that the T-heads are covering the story in their typical after the fact useless journalism), learning that buy and hold of LU or WCOM from $60 to $1.40 or .19 can more than erase a decade of gains, learning that insiders & ESOPs have totally looted shareholder equity.... And I'll bet most of them don't yet understand the torture of retesting the same old low share price AFTER going through reverse splits (I'm kinda thinking this will cause the next big recognition wave down when they start regularly appearing in the portfolios of those who stay "in"). Was curious if you've been seeing the retiree's you've mentioned in the past ever go into capital preservation mode? What's awful for them is the continuing inflation we're not having g/ng. My mom's retirement community fee has been marching steadily upward for the two years she's been there, & there's a pretty outrageous entry fee to boot. What a nasty inflation gouging system our lawmakers have set up for their constituents. Seems like they're trying to bankrupt everyone while they can - before they can get voted out. Hard not to be cynical with year after year of this in-your-face prestidigitation ... regards, Tom
