SOX tumbles 7.5% as Semi Equip stocks roll
As reported pre-market, the Semiconductor Equipment group is being hit by downward CapEx guidance out of Taiwan Semi. Resulting weakness in the Semi Equips has sent the SOX to a new 52-week low and is putting major pressure on the Nasdaq. Leading the group lower are AMAT -11.5%, KLAC -11.4%, NVLS -9.2%, TER -8%.
