Quite correct.

Consider this. First we get the former and then we get the latter as the other bubbles pop.

Money is running from deflation and causing other entities, not necessarily assets, to inflate until reality catches up and then rapid deflation occurs. The deflation doesn't show up in Cleveland FED's median CPI though.
